Our other notable stop was Yellowstone National Park. We entered by the South entrance and drove past Old Faithful and the Mammoth Hotsprings to exit at the North entrance to the park. We got to see Old Faithful go off and saw many beautiful geysers and hotsprings at our brief but beautiful stop at Mammoth Hot Springs. It was Brett and Neve's first visit to the park and it was lovely to be able to share the family tradition of love of the National Parks with a new generation. We were also fortunate to see some wildlife on our drive. We saw deer, elk, a variety of birds, and the highlight of the day; a bison that was sunning himself right along the road!
